Giving Thanks

We had a great Thanksgiving with the DeVries fam. My uncle Buz and aunt Eunie even came over from Modesto with my cousin Mike, his wife Laura and my cousin Lisa. It was a full house at my parent's and we really enjoyed the food and fun with family. The kids did great pretty much the whole day. The three littler ones took a nap during the whole Thanksgiving dinner...nice planning, huh? Katrina and Dason ate at the kid table with sparkling cider in fancy glasses while they watched the Tivo'd parade. No distractions...it was awesome! (We didn't leave the kids out for everything...they did some coloring and had a lot of fun playing together.) After dinner a bunch of us went on our walk, which is a tradition and had a great time talking and working up an appetite for dessert. After the kids were put to bed at Grandpa and Grandma's house, we all played games and had a lot of laughs, especially during Guesstures. We have so much to be thankful it is hard to list it all here. I am so thankful for salvation and that God chose me! I love Leo more each year and my family...all of them! We are so blessed with health and jobs and friends that have loved us over the years. Thank you, Lord, for ALL of your blessings!

Lounging cousins (notice Brett and Kelly's new dog Zuma...no it is not Sucha, but looks just like him only a slightly smaller version...yay Standard Poodles!)

The "grown-ups"...my dad always has to be goofy
