Alumni Game
Each year RVC has an alumni game on Thanksgiving Friday and I have played in a handful or more of them. The last time I played in an alumni game I was 2 months pregnant with Leyna, since last year's game was cancelled, so it had been awhile. I debated whether I should play this year since I am 33 and the last time I played they called me "Kim Grandma Gorauskas". I also didn't want to re-injure the shoulder that I have already had two surgeries on, but I cannot live in fear. :) So, I played and was once again the oldest alumni for both the men's and women's games. I had a lot of fun this year, though. There were 12 of us, which I think is a record, so I was able to play in short stints and it is a lot more fun playing when you are not dying from lack of oxygen. I had quite the fan club and whenever I did anything they all cheered like crazy which was fun! I also got to play with some of the girls that I coached several years ago so that made me feel a little old, but it was neat at the same time. I'm glad I played and perhaps I will try again next year.

yea kimmy! my mom thinks you're awesome!
Ok so I am so glad that you did NOT talk me into playing in the alumni game and then posting a picture of me to all your blog viewers. Phew!
Good job though Kim for getting out there and representing all us old fogies..!
Kim Grandma G. - what a great nickname. I'll have to remember that. :o) What fun times. I'm glad you got to play and didn't kill yourself doing it.
Thanksgiving pictures look great too. That is awesome that the kids cooperated so well and that you guys had a great time.
So I'm just wondering if you made those free-throws... your form looks good!
