Our Quick Trip to Reno

We went to Reno this past weekend on Saturday and came back on Sunday. It was a quick trip to celebrate Leo's mom's birthday and his brother's birthday, which is the same day. We stopped at Boreal on the way up to play in some snow. The kids had a great time and then we warmed up with some hot cocoa in the "lodge" and watched the snow boarders head down the hill. We had a yummy family dinner made by Jonas on Saturday night to celebrate their special day. On Sunday we decided to check out the new sporting goods store...Scheels. It was HUGE! They had two fish tanks: fresh and salt water. There was also a big ferris wheel in the middle of the store, a play area, a cafe, "stuffed" animal display, etc. This store made Cabelas look really small. The kids enjoyed it and so did the adults. All in all, it was a fast trip, but we had a good time. We wanted to stop and see our friends in Rocklin and Auburn, but it didn't work out this time. Hey maybe we can meet at In-n-Out for a quick bite together sometime since that is Leo's preferred stop. :)
