Katrina was so excited for her first day of Kindergarten to start on August 20th. She is going halfday this year from 8:45-12:00, which has been perfect so far. She loves her teacher, Mrs. Codding, who also goes to our church. They wear uniforms at her school (K-8) and it is the cutest thing on the little kids. I just think they all look so adorable in their uniforms. After the second day of school she told me that if you get your name on the board with two checks you have to go see "The Man" (aka principal). She said she will be sure that never happens to her. Well, the second week of school, Mrs. Codding sent her to see "The Man" for good behavior so that she will not be so petrified of him. She has loved everything about school so far: recess, the library, computer lab, garden, chapel, music, art, etc. She did say that you don't get to play in Kindergarten as much as PreK, but that she will get used to it since she can play at home.
Dason goes to the PreK there so we were excited to see our fun cousins that morning before school.
Katrina and Hannah are excited to be in each other's class again. They went to preschool and PreK together.
I think there are 13 kids in her class.

So cute Kim. Stella starts Thursday...it's hard for me. I'm not sure if it's because she's going to public school, or just the fact that she's actually going!?! I honestly could keep them at the ages they are now for a few more years.
