Happy Birthday Katrina

So now my Kindergartener is officially 5. She is such a joy to us and really loves life. Yesterday she was asking me about Satan since they talked about him in school and we had a good talk. She said that she is always going to love God and trust Him "no matter what." Oh how precious the faith of a child!

On another note, the other day I said to Katrina, "Thanks, big girl." To which she replied, "your welcome big mama." Hmmm...not exactly a compliment. I think big girl sounds a lot better than big mama. Anyway, she had a great birthday on Tuesday and we made apple frogs for her school snack and she got to be line leader at school. I told her that she needed to take a nap that day since it would be a late night. She said, "Mom, that doesn't really seem like a fun thing to do on my birthday," but she obliged and took a nap anyway. That night her cousins came over for some cake and she got a new kickstand from Grandpa and Grandma. She has been wanting a kickstand for months but after they gave it to her she told me that she really likes the kickstand but she was hoping that Grandpa and Grandma were going to get her a two-wheeled scooter (AKA Razor). They did give her one at the party and it is purple...her favorite color! She was doubly excited. Our great neighbor friends also helped deck out her bike with a new basket, horn and streamers. The girls in our court love to ride bikes, scooters, skates together. What fun!

Posing with her favorite doll that Aunt Kelly took her to pick out "Freckles". She also wore her birthday pin to school and Mrs. Codding gave her a special birthday lei.

Happy Birthday to Katrina

Katrina loves to ride her bike or anything with wheels.
