Well, as of yesterday, I am officially a "soccer mom". Katrina had her first day of practice last night in her U6 league. Because her birthday is in September this is the first year that she is old enough to play. And...somehow Leo and I got convinced to coach the team so we (mostly Leo) will have our first opportunity to coach one of our daughters. Right now our team is called "Team 5" but hopefully we will get a better name than that soon. Katelynn Merical is also on the team so that will be fun to see a lot more of the Mericals this season. I think the thing that is going to be the hardest this season is that Leyna wants to do EVERYTHING that Katrina does, as you can see by the picture...so I might not be able to help Leo out as much as I would like. One person commented that they didn't know that Leo and I played soccer. I said that we didn't but Leo is from Brazil so that should count for something. :)
