Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

We love Fall around here. All of the changing colors are so beautiful especially on the vineyards. (Sidenote: the only bummer about Fall around our house is that probably over a million leaves from our big trees fall in our yard and we are constantly raking them up and borrowing neighbors yard cans. The girls think it is fun, though.) And with Fall come a few trips to the Pumpkin Patch. Katrina's class went this past Thursday and it was a beautiful day. This was Katrina's first field trip and she was pretty excited about it. The kids all had a picnic lunch together on the field, which was cute and did the typical pumpkin patch things: hay maze, corn maze, pet the animals, pick out a pumpkin, played in these cool teepees, climbed on old tractors, played near the pond and looked for ducks, etc. We rode together with Shandria and the girls seemed to have a good time.

Wandering and getting lost in the corn maze.

Katrina and Jarrod (classmate) playing near the pond.
Katrina seems to have a thing for odd looking pumpkins. I was surprised by her pick this year.
